An Audience-Based Approach
Talent acquisition is where the employee life cycle begins. When it’s done well, recruitment is an exciting step–for the candidate and the employer. It’s that phase when everyone is testing the waters and imagining what might be possible.
But, I also know that it’s not all rainbows and unicorns. Recruiters, HR teams, and hiring managers are faced with a talent shortage. They juggle competing demands and priorities. At a minimum, they want to create an outstanding candidate experience, but it can be tough.
When I approach writing projects on the topic of talent acquisition, I keep my audience in mind. These are the people who need systems that help them recruit, hire, and retain the talent they so desperately need.
