I’m happy to announce the launch of my first book. The Complete Guide to Becoming a Professional HR Writer along with The HR Content Academy website and Facebook group.
If you’d told me eight years ago that in the year 2020, amidst a pandemic, I’d be developing a guide and community to help other HR professionals become writers, I don’t think I would have believed you.
Even though I’ve always wanted to start a group for HR writers, it took the pandemic to give me the shove I needed to make it a reality. I couldn’t be happier to see how fast it’s growing!
I launched Liz Sheffield Copywriting in 2012 after a 12-year career in HR at Starbucks. I loved creating a great work environment there, but wanted to write full time.
I grew my business with not only hard work, but wonderful mentors and coaches, amazing writing communities with knowledgeable colleagues, and online classes, courses, and books that helped me develop my skills.
The Complete Guide to Becoming a Professional HR Writer, The HR Content Academy website and Facebook group are labors of love to help other HR writers find their voice in a supportive network of like minded professionals.
