HR checklist for your start-up

Published at Cap401From what I’ve seen and heard, it’s not very common for startups to prioritize HR when they open their doors for business! But that’s a mistake. How should you think about HR for your startup? I’d suggest you create HR plans, policies, and processes that meet short-term needs and budgets while taking into account long-term risks and goals.

I get that startups rarely have dedicated HR staff, in fact often someone who may or may not have experience in HR is put in charge of handling handles hiring, payroll, benefits, grievances, promotions and other employee-related tasks.
